JPPMI is owned and published by CV Media Publikasi Cendekia Indonesia, an Indonesian academic publisher that supports responsible scholarly communication in community engagement, community empowerment, and community development.

Publisher responsibilities

  • Providing institutional and administrative support for journal operations;
  • Maintaining the OJS platform, website, security, backup, and publication infrastructure;
  • Supporting production, DOI registration, metadata distribution, preservation, and open-access dissemination;
  • Maintaining transparent information concerning ownership, fees, copyright, ethics, and journal policies; and
  • Respecting editorial independence and the Editor-in-Chief's authority over individual manuscripts.

Editorial responsibilities

The Editor-in-Chief leads the editorial process with the support of editors, editorial board members, and independent reviewers. Editorial management includes:

  • Assessing whether submissions are relevant to the journal's focus and scope;
  • Assigning qualified editors and independent reviewers;
  • Protecting the confidentiality, fairness, and integrity of peer review;
  • Evaluating reviewer reports and author revisions;
  • Making or confirming final editorial decisions; and
  • Managing ethical, authorship, conflict-of-interest, and post-publication concerns.

Editorial independence

The owner and publisher do not interfere with the evaluation or decision of an individual manuscript. Acceptance, revision, and rejection decisions are based on scope, scholarly and practical contribution, reporting quality, ethical compliance, and peer-review evidence. Commercial considerations, sponsorship, institutional relationships, advertising, and Article Processing Charge payments do not determine editorial outcomes.
