Jurnal Pengabdian dan Pengembangan Masyarakat Indonesia (JPPMI) uses Open Journal Systems (OJS) 3 as its web-based journal management and publishing platform.
OJS is open-source software developed and supported by the Public Knowledge Project (PKP) to facilitate scholarly publishing, editorial management, peer review, and the dissemination of academic publications.
Through OJS, JPPMI manages manuscript submissions, editorial communication, peer-review workflows, publication preparation, and public access to published articles.

OJS provides an integrated environment for coordinating the principal stages of scholarly publication.
Authors can create accounts, submit manuscripts and supplementary files, provide article metadata, and follow the progress of their submissions.
Editors can organize submissions, conduct preliminary screening, assign editorial responsibilities, communicate with authors, and document editorial decisions.
The platform supports reviewer invitations, review assignments, confidential communications, reviewer reports, author revisions, and subsequent editorial assessment.
Accepted manuscripts can be managed through copyediting, layout preparation, proofreading, and publication scheduling.
Published articles are presented through journal issue archives and article landing pages containing bibliographic information and available full-text files.

OJS facilitates workflow administration, but the platform does not independently determine manuscript quality or acceptance. Scholarly evaluations and final publication decisions remain the responsibility of qualified human editors and reviewers under JPPMI's editorial policies.
JPPMI provides open access to its published scholarly articles through its OJS-based journal website.
Readers can browse available issues and access full-text publications without subscription charges, subject to applicable copyright and licensing conditions.
Article metadata, identifiers, and full-text availability are managed according to the journal's publication, indexing, copyright, and digital archiving arrangements.
