Abstract

Kemajuan teknologi pada industri 4.0 dan pemanfaatannya dalam masyarakat 5.0 memberikan kemudahan sekaligus dampak perubahan pola hidup dan status gizi masyarakat. Pola hidup masyarakat modern yang cenderung sedentari menyebabkan peningkatan tren kegemukan pada kelompok usia di atas 18 tahun. Kegemukan dapat diatasi dengan berbagai pendekatan antara lain yaitu pengendalian asupan makanan dan penerapan gizi seimbang. Edukasi gizi diberikan kepada mahasiswa baru Program Studi Gizi Universitas Sultan Ageng Tirtayasa tentang kontrol asupan makanan dan diet sehat sesuai gizi seimbang. Edukasi diberikan dengan melakukan pre test, penyampaian materi, diskusi, dan post test. Hasil pre dan post test menunjukkan rata-rata skor pengetahuan peserta (n= 48) sebelum diberikan edukasi sebesar 6,5 dan meningkat menjadi 8,62 setelah diberikan edukasi. Peningkatan pengetahuan tentang kontrol asupan makanan dan gizi seimbang perlu dilakukan secara terus menerus untuk mengubah perilaku makan peserta agar menjadi lebih baik dan menerapkannya di kehidupan sehari-hari
