Publication Ethics

This policy describes guidelines in the publication process of our journal. Specifically, Journal of Community Nutrition Intervention adopts and strives to adhere to the standards and requirements of COPE (Committee on Publication Ethics). This statement describes the ethical behavior of all parties involved in publishing an article, including the Author, Editorial Board Team, and Reviewers.

For Editors

  • Editors accept, reject, or request modifications based on the editorial review board report.
  • Editors are responsible for every article published in the journal.
  • Editors evaluate manuscripts objectively based on quality, regardless of nationality, ethnicity, belief, gender, or affiliation.
  • Editors ensure the blind review process and guarantee manuscript confidentiality.
  • Editors follow COPE flowcharts in cases of suspected misconduct.
  • The journal strictly forbids interference with the editorial freedom of any of its editors.

For Reviewers

  • Reviewers comment on ethical questions and possible research and publication misconduct.
  • Reviewers must complete the review in a timely manner or notify the editor.
  • Reviewers must maintain the confidentiality of the manuscript and decline if there is a conflict of interest.

For Authors

  • Authors affirm the material has not been published elsewhere.
  • Authors ensure originality, proper citation, and have a zero tolerance for plagiarism and self-plagiarism.
  • Authors must adhere to authorship criteria; co-authors must have made significant contributions.
  • Authors may not submit the same manuscript concurrently to more than one journal.
  • Authors must disclose all financial/relevant interests that may have influenced the development of the manuscript.
  • If the author discovers a significant error in the submitted manuscript, they must report it to the editor immediately.
