https://journalmpci.com/index.php/AACF/article/view/314

Literacy for children is an important ability to be developed from an early age because literacy is an important foundation in the development of every child to form the ability to read, write, and think critically. Fairy tale literacy, especially Indonesian folk tales for stateless children, plays an important role in the education and development of stateless children, who often experience limited access to formal education and cultural resources. Based on the literacy activities of Indonesian folk tales conducted on stateless children in Kuala Lumpur, the results show that stateless children learn about traditions, values, and cultural history. Not only that, children also learn moral lessons such as honesty, hard work, mutual cooperation, and courage. In addition, children's imagination and creativity are more developed. By holding this activity, it can be used as an activity that helps foster stateless children's interest in reading and helps them develop literacy and language skills, but also provides them with tools to develop strong identity, morals, and social connections. This is an important step in supporting their well-being and integration into society.
Laelah AzizahFemmy AngreanyArlian Fachrul SyaputraHimala Praptami AdysAlamsyah

https://journalmpci.com/index.php/AACF/article/view/315

The traditional woven craft of lontar leaves in the era of technological product shifts presents more practical and quality value. The uniqueness of the lontar leaf material and the abundant potential of natural resources make it interesting to explore the development of innovative woven craft products from the aspect of design variety to create alternative product forms through research and development. This research and development aims to: 1) create alternative designs for decorative art that can be applied to paper quilling techniques, and 2) produce prototypes of decorative art products made from lontar leaves using paper quilling techniques to enhance the woven products of artisans in Takalar Regency. The development research procedure adapts the development model from Borg & Gall, which has been simplified by Nurkamto into four stages: introduction, design, development/testing, and dissemination. The final output of the research includes the creation of three decorative art product prototypes made from lontar leaves through paper quilling techniques, titled: 1) 'Decorative Corn', 2) 'Decorative Lontar', and 3) 'Decorative Fish'. All three works begin with the design of decorative art by applying elements and principles of visual arts in their composition, while the ornamental forms are identified and iconically represent local wisdom to strengthen the image. The results of the decorative art exploration can inspire lontar leaf artisans to create aesthetically valuable products in Takalar Regency.
Alimuddin CacoSiti Asmaulul IzmiNurachmy Sahnir

https://journalmpci.com/index.php/AACF/article/view/316

This study aims to determine the quality of broiler meat with the addition of Moringa (Moringa oleifera) leaf extract. This study was conducted in April 2022 in Gowa Regency, South Sulawesi Province. The research method was arranged based on a completely randomized design (CRD) with a population of 48 broilers placed in 16 cage plots; each plot contained three chickens with four treatments, each consisting of 4 repetitions. Each experimental sample used in this study is P0 = Without Moringa leaf extract (Control), P1 = Drinking water with 3% Moringa leaf extract in 1 liter of water, P2 = Drinking water with 6% Moringa leaf extract in 1 liter of water, P3 = Drinking water with 3% Moringa leaf extract in 1 liter of water. The meat variables observed were carcass percentage, cooking loss percentage, broiler meat texture, broiler meat color and broiler meat odor. The results showed that at P2 with 6% Moringa leaf extract, there was no significant difference in the percentage of carcass and cooking loss. However, P2 gave a substantial difference in the organoleptic test of meat texture 85.87, meat color 80.50 and meat odor 83.10. Based on the data for each parameter tested with various treatments, it can be recommended that the best treatment is P2 (giving 6% Moringa leaf extract).
MihraniNur IkhsanHerlinaSahrini Rauf

https://journalmpci.com/index.php/AACF/article/view/317

This study explores the role of the Maraga Dance in preserving and strengthening the cultural identity of the Bugis-Makassar community in South Sulawesi. Using a qualitative approach, data were collected through interviews with community leaders, dancers, and cultural experts, as well as direct observations. The findings indicate that the Maraga Dance functions as both a performance art and an educational tool, transmitting values such as courage and solidarity to the younger generation while reinforcing community cohesion. Challenges to its preservation include the influence of modernization and globalization and a lack of support. The study suggests integrating the Maraga Dance into educational curricula, holding regular cultural festivals, and conducting comprehensive documentation and research to ensure the dance's continuity as a symbol of Bugis-Makassar cultural identity in the modern era.
JamilahNurachmy SahnirBau Salawati

The results of the study showed an R2 value of 34.7%, so the variation in women's clothing purchasing decisions can be explained by both independent variables and the rest is explained by variables outside the model. The results of the F test show that the independent variables of fashion trends and consumer behavior together influence purchasing decisions. The results of the t test show that the increase in purchasing decisions for Muslim clothing was influenced by the increase in fashion trends and consumer behavior.
St. AisyahKurniatiFitry PurnamasariAndi Khaerun Niza
